Thank you for your interest in working with Speak About AI for your event! We're excited to help you find the perfect AI/ML keynote speaker for your guests. Our goal is to make this process as easy as possible for you.

Our Booking Process:

1. Fill out our contact form

You can also email us directly at human@speakabout.ai. Please provide as complete answers as possible (share links and photos if available).

  • Event date, time, location, and nearest airport

  • Tell us about your venue (room layout, staging, AV/tech, etc)

  • Audience size, demographics, and background

  • Format and length (keynote, workshop, fireside chat, panel discussion, etc.)

  • Key topics or areas of focus

  • Event goals and what else will be happening at your event

  • Speakers you are considering and who you have had before

  • Budget Range

2. Speaker Selection

You can find all of the speakers listed on our roster here.

If you have a specific speaker in mind, let us know. We'll reach out to them on your behalf to check availability and discuss terms.

If you don’t see the name you’re looking for on our website, we also have 25+ unlisted speakers & an extensive network.

If you’re not sure where to start, our team will reach out within 24 hours to schedule a consultation. We'll discuss your needs, answer questions, and propose a few options. We'll provide a proposal with 3+ options based on your event details, audience, and goals.

3. Finalize Your Booking 

Once you've made your selection, we’ll send you and the speaker an agreement to sign along with an invoice for a 50% deposit. The balance is due 14 days before the event.

4. Pre-Event Preparation 

After the contract is signed, we typically organize a meeting between your team and the speaker. We make sure that all parties are aligned on content, setup, AV, tech, travel, and any additional details.

We will create a shared Google Drive folder with the necessary resources for the event, including speaker photo, bio, travel arrangements, AV/tech preferences, and slides.

5. Day of Event

Our goal is for you to be able to relax and attend your own event. We will be available at a moment's notice if we need to be reached. We attend all virtual events and can be on-site for certain in-person events.

6. Event Follow-Up 

We love following up after the event to see how everything went. We intend for us and the speaker(s) to not only meet all your goals but to exceed your expectations.

Do We Book Travel for the Speakers?

If the speaker is not local, we typically ask for a travel buyout in addition to the speaker’s fee. The travel buyout includes air, ground, meals, etc. In most cases, we ask for you to provide the hotel (preferably onsite).

There are no travel fees if the talk is virtual or within 50 miles of them.

Do Your Speakers Travel Internationally?

Yes, most of our speakers travel internationally. If your event is in a country categorized with a Level 3 Travel Advisory by the U.S. Department of State, security and/or a driver will be required.

How far in advance should you book a speaker?

Our speakers have busy schedules, so we recommend booking your speaker as early as possible. Most inquiries come in 6 to 9 months and have signed agreements 5 to 8 months before the event.

Inquiries do come in at the last minute, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. We have booked rockstar speakers for clients dealing with last-minute emergency cancellations. We are here to help!

What is the typical fee for a speaker?

The speakers we represent range in fees from $20k to $100k depending on their expertise, popularity, the length and quantity of presentations, the amount of personalization, and the location of your event.

We work with all types of clients with various budgets and are happy to present our speakers with any reasonable offer.
