About Rebecca Weekly
Rebecca Weekly is CTO of the JC Group, overseeing technology strategy and execution across a set of consumer product Berkshire Hathaway companies, and serves as a Tech Fellow at BRK Tech driving hybrid cloud and sovereign AI solutions across Berkshire Hathaway. In this role, she focuses on driving digital transformation across consumer product companies, hybrid cloud, and AI solutions to ensure Berkshire Hathaway delivers value efficiently, effectively, and securely.
She previously led infrastructure engineering at GEICO through its hybrid cloud transformation, repatriating key workloads, delivering a true hybrid open source stack, and modernizing its physical infrastructure. Before that, she ran full lifecycle management of Cloudflare's compute, network, storage, and AI systems across 300+ cities and 100+ countries.
A former Open Compute Project President and Chairperson, Rebecca was named to Fortune's 40 Under 40 in Technology in 2020, Business Insider's Cloudverse 100, and Data Centre Magazine's Top 100 Women in Data Centers in 2025 and 2026.
On stage, Rebecca tailors her content to the audience, drawing on hands-on experience building and running infrastructure at hyperscale and enterprise scale. Her keynotes on enterprise AI infrastructure cover real-world examples where organizations have derived value from AI, how those use cases differ from hyperscale scenarios, hybrid cloud strategies (since no single cloud has enough GPUs for your needs), and bridging the gap between system and silicon builders and the people who use them. She has keynoted HashiConf, Data Center World, and US Signal's developer conference on GEICO's infrastructure modernization journey, and has delivered many keynotes and interviews on open compute and sustainability amid ramping data center demand.
Outside of work, Rebecca is the lead singer of the funk and soul band Sinister Dexter and an MIT graduate in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.
